Silverfox Management Pty Ltd is registered with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) as a Domestic Builder Unlimited (CDB-U 67999) and a Commercial Builder Limited (CCB-L 100461), both current, and is a member of the Master Builders Association of Victoria. You can check any Victorian builder's registration on the VBA's public register at vba.vic.gov.au.

Yes. Silverfox has a Bendigo office and works across Greater Bendigo and Central Victoria, from Ballarat to Echuca, as builder, construction manager or superintendent. Central Victorian projects include the Bendigo Organics facility at Huntly and residential work at Axe Creek and Kilmore.

Yes. Silverfox is based at Flemington and works across Greater Melbourne. Melbourne projects include the Hawthorn Rd, Caulfield North heritage mixed use development, residential work in Hawthorn, Surrey Hills, Ashburton, St Kilda and Flemington, and aged care work in the eastern suburbs.

Silverfox works on aged care and independent living, commercial, industrial and residential projects. Typical work ranges from significant residential renovations and new homes through to multi-million dollar aged care, industrial and mixed use developments. We are deliberately small and senior, so directors run every project personally.

Yes. Aged care and independent living is a core sector. Silverfox has managed a 90-bed residential aged care facility from masterplan to commissioning and delivers independent living units and aged care refurbishments, with an interior designer in house who specialises in aged care and institutional fit out.

A builder contracts to construct the works for a price and carries the delivery risk. A construction manager runs the project on the owner's behalf, engaging trades and consultants and managing programme, cost and quality, usually for a fee. A superintendent is the independent party named in a building contract who administers it: certifying claims, assessing variations and extensions of time, and keeping the contract fair to both sides. Silverfox acts in all three roles, and will recommend the structure that suits the project.

Yes. Silverfox provides design services through its in-house registered architect and an interior designer, so a project can move from town planning and concept design through documentation, interiors and FF&E procurement to construction under one contract. Silverfox Management is a registered builder with in-house design services, not an architectural practice.

Depending on the project and the client's preference: a lump sum tender against documented drawings, a design and construct offer, or construction management on a fee basis with open-book trade costs. Early in a project we prepare a budget estimate so the feasibility is tested before design money is spent.

Greater Melbourne from the Flemington office, and Greater Bendigo and Central Victoria, from Ballarat to Echuca, from the Bendigo office. Regional projects elsewhere in Victoria are considered case by case.
