Because Silverfox is also a registered builder (CDB-U 67999, CCB-L 100461), its assessments of claims, variations and programme are grounded in how the work is actually built.
The superintendent is the person named in a building contract to administer it. Under the Australian Standard forms the superintendent must act honestly and fairly when certifying, assessing and valuing, so the role is closer to a referee than an advocate. Silverfox provides the role independently of the builder.
Client-side project management represents the owner from the first idea to handover: masterplanning and best-use modelling, feasibility and budgets, authority approvals and permits, consultant engagement and design management, and programme, cost and risk management through construction and commissioning.
It is where Silverfox began. Founder Stuart King spent a career with Melbourne's tier-two builders and then a decade specialising in client-side project management before founding the company, and he remains involved in every project.
Before the contract is signed. A superintendent or project manager appointed early shapes the separable portions, liquidated damages, security and payment terms so the contract can actually be administered. If you have already signed an AS 4000 or AS 4902 contract, the role has to be filled for the contract to work.
Fees are usually a monthly amount through the construction period plus a defects-period retainer, set against the contract sum and the complexity of the project.

A 90 bed extension and new front of house that took the home to 182 beds, including the sub-division works and the power authority infrastructure upgrades the development needed, interior fit-out specifications and FF&E procurement. $22M, completed January 2025. Granite Hills, Euroa. Superintendent for Euroa Health on a new 75 bed single storey residential aged care facility with a bar, salon, library, cinema and chapel, where final mile design management held cost to the stakeholders' expectations. $15M, completed December 2017. Silverfox returned for the 10 bed unit added in 2024 (architect DeNova Group), which took the home to 85 beds.
